I got the Annandale oaten chaff sample during the week and have been adding a handful to my boy's feed each day and he LOVES it! We start feeding all our foals at two weeks old on Annandale Fresh Forage - a handful in a separate feed bowl next to their mother's bowl - they then learn really early to eat Fresh Forage and hardfeed with the amount of feed increasing as they get older. We find this a huge asset when weaning as the foal is already used to eating so there is no setback with "finnicky" eating.
Another huge advantage of Annandale Fresh Forage is the ease of which you get it out of the bag! I don't have to have a "fight" with it every day.
 
We feed your FreshForage to all our quarterhorses and thoroughbreds (we are small breeders of gallopers) so plough through the product.

I have a 26 yr old Quarter horse that had lost condition this year and she was very stiff in her movement.. After 2 weeks on Peavine and Clover Chaff she was moving better and putting on weight.  I have 4 horses that love you feed and I'll not be going back to the other feed I was using, we are converted.

I love using the Annandale chaff as it gives a base to feed and when going away it gives the horse a chance to have some roughage feed when unable to get grass.

I've got a VERY picky mare and she and my other two love Annandale Lucerne & Oaten chaff. Love how it has more goodness than straight Oaten, but less than full on Lucerne. It's ALWAYS excellent quality, haven't had a doubtful bag yet, and I go through heaps.

During winter I was asked to take on a very light 3yo TB Gelding. He was a fussy type eater and I used Lurcerne Chaff and Forage in his feds twice a day, after a month he was licking his bucket clean. It’s also time saving as easy to use and always has a wonderful smell. Your product is quality!!

My orphan foal is fed Annandale Lucerne Chaff and she has done very well on it -you can't tell she was an orphan to look at her now!

My pony turns her nose up at any other chaff but just loves Meadow Hay Chaff. She knows the good stuff too! Mum likes it to as it doesn't make her sneeze.

When you are 16.3hh and half Clydesdale it is important that your bucket is FULL you know. Luckily with Annandale Chaff there can be a lot more food in the bucket.

After feeding Meadow Hay Chaff for a couple of weeks,i noticed a huge difference in my pony as she was not as firey, and it filled her up. She loved the taste to!

My horse suffers from staggers so i need a good quailty not badly price chaff for his regular breakfasts and dinners. Annandale is perfect for this and my horse loves it too.

My horse love Lucerne Chaff its full of energy loads of fibre but its great at keeping him cool and collected he just loves munching down his feed that's full of chaff.

I have benefitted from Annadales Peavine & Clover Chaff because my pony is now given the correct roughage which does not heat my pony up but still gives her energy Which is a bonus when you have an eventing pony :)

I love the sweet smell that hits you when you open a bag of Forage and so do my horses.

I am finding this product to be of extremely high quality. The lucerne does not have any dust, the horses are looking healthy and in great condition and come galloping over to get their feed. What more could you ask for.

I was having trouble finding a chaff that my very large Irish Hunter x Tb would eat, he was being very fussy and it wasnt untill i tried annadales peavine and clover chaff that i was able to get him to eat his whole tea

In feeding Meadow Hay Chaff combined with Cool Feed and mineral supplements, I find that my mare is able to concentrate well during her training without too much excitement and anxiety. It's a lovely smelling product that stays fresh for ages.

My girl just adores the lucerne and oatstraw chaff. Makes a beeline for it and wont eat anything else. Used to steal it off of our old thoroughbred and ignore her own food so we figure she must know best. Now she gets it everyday.

I first came across Annandale in 2007 at the horse of the year show. Since then I have been getting it when and were i can. My father brought me down some bags and after using it through the winter took my horses out to their first show of the season and came back with a arm full of ribbons and took out champion.

Me and my pony Boris, have so much fun together! We go to lots of events including dressage, gymkhana's, ode's and more. He is my best friend ever and I want to give him the best, he enjoy's his feed sooo much he eats it with his eyes closed loving every minute of it! His feed helps him work hard for me and do great!

I have to say that Annandale products are what I want to feed my horse, he will love it! Your feed is so clean. Amazingly so there is no dust its fantstic !!! When are you going to be selling in the south island? I love your meadow hay chaff as it is one of the few high quality, high fibre, low sugar, horse friendly grass (browntop) products available on the market. I have an insulin resistant horse that is on minimal grass. Its even hard to find good quality high fibre horse hay that does not contain clover or rye. Its reasuring that I know your browntop chaff will not have a detrimental effect on my horse. cheers !

We feed Annandale Lucerne chaff to all our horses to provide the roughage they need with any concentrates. We find the chaff incredibly good quality and is dust free. Never had a problem with a dry cough since we started using the feed - had 6 horses on full feeds over the winter and they all did great, no need to wet the feed to stop the dust. I'd recommend Annandale feeds to any horse owner wanting a great quality, economical product.

Georgie is an elderly (20) first time Mum. She is a very caring Mother but her milk quality was not great so Shahin had to start hard feeding when only a week old. We introduced him to a quality weanling mix with a little Annandale Lucerne Chaff for taste and calcium. He LOVED it and not only scoffed his own but was into Mum's too. He lost his ribbiness rapidly and has come through the winter looking great with the continued Lucerne chaff in his feed.

I have just started using the Oaten Chaff and am so pleased with it. I have an ex racehorse so wanted a low sugar feed but still wanted energy and the Oaten Chaff has ticked all the boxes. This is a great feed and recomend it to owners of hot horses!He has gained condition too as he can get quite lean when in work.

My horse loves Annandale chaff, no matter how little i mix with it, he still loves it and always looks great!

Tui has Equine Recurrent Uveitis. The causes of this disease are not known but environment effects can play a part. I need to do all I can to keep her eye clear from dust particles that may contribute to causing a flare up of her condition. I choose Annandale Meadow Hay Chaff as it's dust free and always fresh. The attached photo was taken on a stroll along Muriwai Beach.

We find it a perfect combination with grain & it keeps our broodmares in good condition all year round giving us healthy strong foals (our foal "Jewel" pictured less than 12 hours old). We also find it great for our show horses & stallions & the main thing is the horses like it.

I love the annandale products for my hunters. They work extremely hard during the hunt season, have a month off and then do some low level show jumping, eventing and dressage. I know that they get all the fibre they need in their feed with Annandale. One of my horses is very greedy and tries to bolt his food so the chaff helps to slow him down. The other is more of a poor doer and I love the extra protein in the Lucerne chaff. Thank you Annandale.

My little thoroughbred Archie is such a fuss pot when it comes to food. A fleck of dust and he wont touch it. Annandale Lucerne Chaff though....I cant keep him away. Its great. Although i feed it with other products, its the first lucerne chaff that i can feed happily to him without anything added and he'll gobble it up!
