Annandale’s Oaten Chaff is produced in the North Island from steam enhanced golden oat straw combined with the naturally ripened goodness of both golden oat heads and black oats. With at least 8kgs of oats in every bag, our chaff is great value.

High in energy and low in protein make this an excellent source of fibre for mature performance horses/allrounders with higher energy requirements and horses on high concentrate diets.

Excellent for improving digestion of other feeds and supporting gut health.

Oats contain crude protein, fat, silica, calcium, vitamins E & A, phosphorous and potassium. Oats are are a concentrated source of energy and are very nutritious, making them ideal for horses with higher energy requirements. The oat husk of is a source of fibre and therefore makes this grain less likely to cause digestive upsets.
